7th Commandment

Exodus 20:14 “You do not commit ADULTERY.

Leviticus 20:10 ‘And a man who commits ADULTERY with the wife of another man, who commits ADULTERY with the wife of his neighbor: the adulterer and the adulteress shall certainly be put to death.

Deuteronomy 5:18 ‘You do not commit ADULTERY.

Proverbs 6:32 He who commits ADULTERY with a woman lacks heart; He who does it destroys his own life.

Jeremiah 5:7 “Why should I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken Me and sworn by those that are not mighty ones. When I had filled them up, they then committed ADULTERY and they thronged to the house of a whore.

Matthew 5:27 “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit ADULTERY.’

Matthew 5:28 “But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed ADULTERY with her in his heart.

Mark 10:19 “You know the commands, ‘Do not commit ADULTERY,

Romans 13:9 For this, “You shall not commit ADULTERY

James 2:11 For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of Torah.

The unfaithfulness of a married person to the marriage bed; sexual intercourse and sex by a married man with another than his wife, or voluntary sexual intercourse and sex by a married woman with another than her husband. Sex outside of the marriage.

Adultery is the same as:

Infidelity ; affair ; cheating ; fling ; fornication ; immorality ; extracurricular activity ; two-timing ; interest ; orgy ; involvement ; frolicking ; seduction ; engagement ; pursuit ; matinee.

Sex is classified as:

Fornication ; oral sex ; anal sex ; mating ; intimacy ; coupling ; orgy ; copulation ; relations ; love-making ; heavy petting ; foreplay ; caress ; kissing ; sexual congress ; cohabitation ; coitus ; intercourse ; procreation ; consummation ; commerce ; lust ; ejaculation

Matthew 5:28

“But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed ADULTERY with her in his heart.

LUST = ADULTERY

1John 2:16

Because all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.

Hebrews 4:12

For the Word of Elohim is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the HEART.

In short:

Desiring someone other than your husband or wife is adultery. Being intimate in any other way is adultery. Having sex outside of marriage is fornication and adultery.
